Science

The Science curriculum is independent (detached from General Studies) in our school. The school-based Science curriculum focuses on cultivating students’ curiosity and scientific spirit through the inquiry-based approach. Students inquire knowledge to understand scientific and technological developments and apply relevant skills to improve our life, the environment and the world.

Students make use of the five senses to observe and collect data and conduct data analysis through hands-on experiences in experiments and STEM projects. All the above develop their investigative spirits to think and question actively. The Science team co-organises the Math and Science Carnival with the Math team and train students for science competitions so that students can apply their knowledge and skills in authentic contexts and showcase their learning outcomes.

We hope to equip our students with an attitude to work, think and act like a scientist, and they can proactively face and solve future problems.
